Born and brought up in Australia, Elisabeth White, with an American father and Greek/Austrian mother, started off at the early age of thirteen composing her own songs. Performing leading roles in various musicals in New York City, singing in rock bands and at the same time painting her abstract art. Elisabeth White released her remarkable debut album "Maybe God's a woman too" in Europe and South Africa devoting a following of fans. Celebrating a successful live tour and also supporting artists such as Simple Minds, Lenny Kravitz, Beastie Boys, Alannah Myles,Gotthard, Kim Wilde Deep Purple and Pulp, Elisabeth was hitting the European charts in the top 20s and launching up into the PEOPLESOUND charts to No.1, SWF3 charts, MP3 charts, #1 Swiss charts and TV shows, radio, the music channel Viva Swiss, and has won several different European music awards such as "best newcomer," "best female vocals" and "song of the year." Working also for TV commercials, she soon landed another hit single, and later contributed to movie soundtracks in Europe, composed and released charity work for the Ronald McDonalds Foundation, Amnesty International and Medicine sans Frontiers - Stop the Landmines.
