Kim Sejeong (김세정; born August 28, 1996), better known by the mononym Sejeong (세정), is a South Korean singer signed under Jellyfish Entertainment. She is best known for finishing second in Mnet's K-pop girl group survival show Produce 101 and was a former member of I.O.I, gugudan and its subgroup gugudan SEMINA.
She debuted as a soloist on November 22, 2016 with the song "꽃길". This song was produced by ZICO on the Talents for Sale variety show as part of a 30 minute mission. Later on this song was officially released under Jellyfish Entertainment's Jelly box.
She also debuted in acting in 2016 but it was in 2017 when she landed her first main role and won the Best New Actress Award in 2017 with her drama "School 2017". Her most recent drama was the worldwide hit "The Uncanny Counter" (2020) where she performed the song "Meet Again" as the second track for the drama's OST album.
In 2021-03-29, Kim SeJeong released her second EP (a.k.a. mini-album) entitled "I'm" which features five (5) songs all written by Se Jeong herself. In line with this, her label, Jellyfish Entertainment, changed her brand in all streaming sites from "SEJEONG" to "KIMSEJEONG", which unfortunately caused a new set of statistics in sites like Last.fm; or in cases like Deezer and YouTube Music, her albums ended up under two different artist profiles.
