Mc Tha

Thais Dayane da Silva (born 7 May 1993), artistically known as Mc Tha, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. Mixing funk and pop, the artist released her first single "Olha Quem Chegou" in 2014. In 2018, she became nationally known through the single "Valente".

Mc Tha was born in the city of Cidade Tiradentes, in São Paulo, where she stood out for being the only female MC. Inserted in the alternative scene of Brazilian music since the age of 15, the artist released several singles: "Olha Quem Chegou", in 2014; "Pra Você" in 2016; "Bonde da Pantera" in 2017; and "Valente" in 2018. The last two songs were nationally successful. Prior to the singles, Mc Tha had already released authorial songs.

Mc Tha has worked with Jaloo, Banda Uó and Linn da Quebrada. Mc Tha's work is the result of a mix of genres whose artist she listened to as a child, such as rap, forró and funk carioca.
