Björk - Human Behaviour

If you ever get close to a human
And human behaviour
Be ready to get confused
There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic
To human behaviour
But yet so, yet so irresistible
And there's no map
They're terribly moody
And human behaviour
Then all of a sudden turn happy
But, oh, to get involved in the exchange
Of human emotions is ever so, ever so satisfying
Oh oh, and there's no map
Human behaviour, human
Human, human behaviour, human
Human, human behaviour, human
Human behaviour, human
And there's no map
And a compass
Wouldn't help at all
Human behaviour, human, human
Human behaviour, human,
Human behaviour, human,
Human behaviour
There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic
Human, human
Human behaviour
Human.
There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic
Human, human, human, human.

"'Human Behaviour' is an animal's point of view on humans. And the animals are definitely supposed to win in the end." Written by Nellee Hooper and Björk. Featuring a sample of "Go Down Dying" by Ray Brown Orchestra. The Human Behavior Songfacts reports that Björk explained the line, "There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic to human behaviour" during a 2011 Q&A with The Guardian: "At the time I wrote it I was referring to my childhood and probably talking about how I felt more comfortable on my own walking outside singing and stuff than hanging out with humans… I experienced harmony with kids, the mountains and the ocean surrounding Reykjavik and animals I guess but found grown ups rather chaotic and nonsensical." "Human Behaviour" was released in the summer of 1993 (June), one month before the album 'Debut'. This single launched Björk her international solo career after some years with the Sugarcubes. The video, directed by Michel Gondry, became an instant classic and was rewarded by MTV as 'Best Breakthrough Video'. "Human Behaviour" was the birth of a lyrical imagery collaboration, his unique perceptions of Björk’s music and his art of storytelling are unique to the music video world, which resulted in 6 videos.
