Blur - Song 2

Whoohoo!
Whoohoo!
Whoohoo!
Whoohoo!

I got my head checked
By a jumbo jet
It wasn't easy but nothing is
No

Whoohoo!
When I feel heavy metal
Whoohoo!
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Whoohoo!
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time I am never sure
Why I need you
Pleased to meet you

I got my head done
When I was young
It's not my problem
It's not my problem

Whoohoo!
When I feel heavy metal
Whoohoo!
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Whoohoo!
Well, I lie and I'm easy
All of the time and I'm never sure
Why I need you
Pleased to meet you

Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, oh, yeah

"Song 2" is a song by English alternative rock band Blur, the second track from their 1997 self-titled fifth studio album. The riff-based track, known for its overdriven chorus, is among the best-known songs the band has recorded, and easily their most popular in North America. The hook features Damon Albarn yelling "woo-hoo!" as the guitars come crashing in. Released in April 1997, "Song 2" reached number two in the UK Singles Chart, number four on the Australian ARIA Charts, and number six on on US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart. The track was originally titled "Song 2" as a placeholder, but the band members liked the name enough that it stuck. The song is 2 minutes and 2 seconds in length, it is the second track on both the 1997 eponymous album and the 1999 "Best Of" compilation, it has two verses, two choruses, and the classic two-word hook.
