Colbie Caillat - Bubbly

I've been awake for a while now
You've got me feelin' like a child now
'Cause every time I see your bubbly face
I get the tinglees in a silly place

It starts in my toes
And I crinkle my nose
Wherever it goes I always know
That you make me smile
Please stay for a while now
Just take your time
Wherever you go

The rain is fallin' on my window pane
But we are hidin' in a safer place
Under the covers stayin' dry and warm
You give me feelings that I adore

They start in my toes
Make me crinkle my nose
Wherever it goes
I always know
That you make me smile
Please stay for a while now
Just take your time
Wherever you go

What am I gonna say
When you make me feel this way?
I just, mmm

It starts in my toes
Makes me crinkle my nose
Wherever it goes
I always know
That you make me smile
Please stay for a while now
Just take your time
Wherever you go

I?ve been asleep for a while now
You tucked me in just like a child now
'Cause every time you hold me in your arms
I'm comfortable enough to feel your warmth

It starts in my soul
And I lose all control
When you kiss my nose
The feelin' shows
'Cause you make me smile
Baby just take your time now
Holdin' me tight

Wherever, wherever, where ever you go
Wherever, wherever, where ever you go

"Bubbly" is a pop–folk-pop–acoustic song written by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat and Jason Reeves for Caillat's debut album, Coco (2007). Released as the album's lead single in May 2007, the song was produced by Colbie's father, Ken Caillat. According to the Bubbly Songfacts, Colbie Caillat said this song is "about the feelings you get when you have a crush on someone and they make you smile all the time." In Australia—where "Bubbly" was used in a promotional video for Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away—, it reached number one on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart. It also fared well in New Zealand, where the single reached number six on the composite singles chart. On the issue date of October 6, 2007, "Bubbly" rose from number sixteen to number ten on the Billboard Hot 100, later ascending to number five where it was locked for seven weeks. It also spent fourteen weeks atop the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks as well as eighteen weeks atop the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks. In Canada, Montreal's CJFM-FM was the first Canadian radio station to play the song, and other Canadian radio stations began to do so as well. It peaked at number two for three weeks on the Canadian Hot 100. It also reached number nine on CMT Canada's Chevy Cross Canada Countdown, despite not being a predominantly country song.
