“abcdefu” is the second single from rising 17-year old Nashville-based singer, GAYLE. Vocally, the song explains on her trying to be a nice ex-girlfriend, but eventually gives up because her ex-partner is too sour. The track is currently super-viral across social media platform TikTok, where it has already broken into many charts globally. GAYLE has said the following about “abcdefu”. “I have tried so hard to be the nice ex-girlfriend, and I’m over it. [The song is] empowering you to get pissed off. You can still be yourself a good person, but be mad at somebody at the same time. I definitely bottled it all up, so when it came out, it exploded into this big, ‘I hate your mom, I hate your sister. I kind of hate you." It was released August 31st 2021, and started going viral a few months later.
