The song marks the first time Post Malone and Nicki Minaj collaborated and was produced by Post’s frequent collaborator Louis Bell, who previously produced Post’s hits “rockstar” and “Congratulations.” On March 13, 2019, “Ball For Me” was certified Platinum by the RIAA. “Ball For Me” peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the chart week of May 12, 2018. It spent fourteen weeks on the chart, and is the fifth longest-charting track from the album.
