Radiohead - You
You are the sun and moon and stars, are you
And I could never run away from you
You try at working out chaotic things
And why should I believe myself, not you?
It's like the world is going to end so soon
And why should I believe myself?
You, me and everything caught in the fire
I can see me drowning, caught in the fire
The earlier version finishes with the following:
Hey the sun and moon and stars are yeah..
But I won't share myself with you
You to me
"You" is a song by Radiohead from their debut album "Pablo Honey. A love song of an obsessive nature that first appeared on the Manic Hedgehog demo. This version was included on the Drill EP. For Pablo Honey, the song was rerecorded and some of the lyrics changed. The song greatly showcases Thom Yorke's tenor voice with him belting C5 during the guitar solo. Performed live, the song is an excellent showcase for Thom's incredible vocal abilities; he holds one note throughout the guitar solo.
